Remember that time I said I needed to get outta town and head out to the open road? Well, thank god that happened, because boy, was I craving it. I didn’t think the urge would ever arise after getting used to that taxi driving me wherever I wanted (with an expense, of course), but I sure did miss being behind the wheel. Nothing beats that warm fresh wind whipping my hair back and across my face while driving along those constant yellow broken lines, leading me towards something new and exciting.
Here’s a little peak at my uber delicious lunch at the fabulous La Boca Restaurant up in Santa Fe. I just couldn’t resist showing you. Hands down, the BEST fries I have ever had - crab sandwich with truffle fries and a side of a guacamole sauce. YUM
It was a short but sweet conversation and although I would prefer to talk to you days on end, your call just made my day. Over the past years our friendship has grown into something magical. Truly special. Honestly, you are my better half, and no matter what situation I am in, I feel that I can always count on you to pull me out of that rough patch with your incredible words of wisdom and lead me towards a new and improved direction. I know you’re having the time of your life out there in lone star and I couldn’t even begin to tell you how happy I am for you. I just want you to know that I miss you so, so much.
Those crisp chilly mornings are upon us. Where merely the thought of crawling in the back closet to pull out a warm but not too heavy coat just makes you giddy. Ivy filled walls are now burning with a burgundy crimson, overlapping one another, iridescently exploding with their last gasp for life. Golden leaves break the perfect silence as they crunch beneath frye boots. Eyelids close awaiting the warm sunlight to blanket that thin glazed layer for one quick moment until opening once again, while numbness creeps upon the tip of the nose, kitten pink, bitten by Autumn’s fresh early morning air. Welcome home.
